I will be getting my apartment soon and i don't have enough to pay the the rent and the bill off the imcome ia get 698 and iwill have to pay 415 for rent plus the deposit and another deposit for rent and water im in a very bad bind if there's any way u can help me i would greatly apreceatied thank you.

I understand how you feel because I’ve been right where you are many times before.  I received help from the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program – LIHEAP in my area and they paid my utility bill for the one month.  I have provided a link for the programs available in your area so that you can seek help paying your bill.

Hello I am a single mother of four facing eviction. I just started working a job Monday and I have not received a paycheck. I am in the rears from last month $395 and I would like to know if someone would please help our family. I am trying to do the best I can, but I don't get paid until next Friday. Stopping this eviction will really make me happy this holiday season. I do not want to see the sad faces on my kids if we can not get the help we need. Please, Please, Please someone help us! My landlord said she would work with me for December rent as long as I get her the back rent. If you can/will help the money order can be paid directly to her. I'm not playing I am so serious.

I am in need of assistance with my Georgia Power Lights and I have tried every resource in Columbus,Ga. I have a special needs child and I had a stroke which prevents me from working. My lights is $338.00 and have no other way of paying it. I have no family here at all at this time. The temperature here has dropped to 40 degrees and I am up for disconnection on November 29, 2011. I also have a disibility case pending also. I desperately need to get some whole help for this bill so my son and I will not be in the cold and dark.

Please refer to this website and call them first thing Monday morning.  They may be able prevent the disconnection of your service while you apply for assistance.  I received help from the program offered where I live and they paid my utility bill for one month.

Please refer to the website provided with information as to where to apply for the Low Income Heating & Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in your County.  I sought help from the one in my County and they paid my Utility bill for one month.  I also qualified for and am currently on a waiting list for the Weatherization Program to save money on future utility bills.

Please go to this website and find the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) in your area.  I was able to receive help from the one in my area.  They will pay your utility bill for one month and possibly weatherize your home to save on future bills.

 in response to Angie #1...   Your profile doesn't show where you live so that I can locate programs available to you for help. I've been behind on my utility bill since August. I sought help from a non-profit organization in my area and my utility bill was paid for one month. The power company is now working with me directly, allowing me to pay what I am able and waiving all late fees. Please tell me where you live and I'll find a program that offers the same type of help in your area.
